A visit

Each set of friends bring with them their own special qualities. Certain things the kids especially look forward to doing with those particular people. Then there is the new games created, new experiences shared. We have all felt sad to have our paths not be able to cross with these particular friends the last few times we have been 'back' for a visit. So it has felt like a long time. It felt good to be together.

There were the favorites; attempts to stay up really late, peanut toss, fire building, wrestling, joke telling. There were new favorites; dock jumping, swimming way deep, castles to build, lots of fishing. Throw in a visit from the bear and all round it was lots of fun!
