The Forecast

More rain, thunderstorms, and below average temps heading our way....again. Even though we don't shy away from the rain; biking, hiking, playing outside still, there is more indoor time than usual this time of year.
We have set up a table for crafting, painting and playing on the front porch. It gives it that outdoor feeling, with space and air, while still being dry. We have also moved out some kitchen toys, a stove, dishes and a little table onto the porch as well. A new play space seems to make all the difference.
Today while Aria and I are at a birthday party the boys are working on a car mat. We were inspired by this site, they have lots of great ideas (check this lunch idea out!). This craft list also has some great ideas.
