No matter how much effort I mustered, today was one of those days that felt as though I was working against the flow of the world. Car problems, bike problems, disasterous attempts at projects, meltdowns, rain.... We (I) finally got the hint and sat down with the kids, no intention of going anywhere or doing anything except playing a few games. It turned out to be a pretty good day :)
