After a rejuvenating morning of gardening (I love getting my hands in the soil!) we ventured out to the local music centre for kidfest. The kids were thrilled to get ballon animals and thier faces painted. Elias and I having been looking into African drumming together and were thrilled to find out some concrete details for January 2007. The performances ranged from string musicians to African dance accompanied by drums to Latin dance. We enjoyed the slow pace of the afternoon and seeing lots of our friends.
