Happy Thanksgiving

We invited my side of the family up for thanksgiving, a few people took us up on the invite. The rooms were full, extra tables brought in, food rotating out constantly. It was a potluck weekend with everyone bringing different meals. We cooked and cleaned up together. Enjoyed the beautiful sunshine on Saturday and groaned at the short lived snow on Sunday. There were games of tug of war, running races, eating donuts off a string, a scavenger hunt, ATV rides, a blazing fire complete with a great sing a long.

It was a wonderful shared holiday. Really, the way thanksgiving was meant to be.
