Today, which is sandwiched inbetween two family gatherings, we decided to move slowly amongst the beautiful fall colors and sunshine. We headed to 'our' pond in hopes of finding some frogs before they head below the mud. We found a few frogs...but none were caught and admired up close. After we explored the pond we wondered through the tall grass and headed to the woods. A highlight for the kids was helping the milkweed disperse its seeds. They were delighted opening the pods, scattering the seeds.
