My kids have never enjoyed pumpkin carving. I have two kids who are very sensitive to different textures, cold and slimy pumpkin guts happens to be one of them (go figure lol). So there have been many years Chris and I carve them or we paint them or we have one created out of paper or plastic. This year two of the three decided they would give it a whirl....and enjoyed it (well with plastic bags on their hands).
