A Sweet Find

With all the rain, the green world has been growing incredibly quickly. The fruit, not so fast, it has been holding out for the sun. Strawberries at local picking farms hasn't been as abundant as in previous years we were told. We have been gorging on the ones we were able to get. One of the things we noticed when we first moved in were the strawberry plants around the yard. I thrilled everyone by finding the first berries, having found lots since. They are tiny, but taste undoubtedly as a yummy strawberry should. A real treasure!

The admiration we have for farmers is huge. Contributing to our lives in such an important way, to have so much of the success depend on the weather. Buying local, such an important and easy thing for you to do. I know you know, just had to say.
