Tobogganing

Friends invited us to their fabulous toboggan hill. The path was cleared years ago for the toboggans out of a wooded hill. It is both beautiful, running through an arch of snow covered branches and ideal speed and length. The kids brought all different kinds of sleds, including the new ones they got for Christmas (they worked great Grammy and Grampy).

There was one crazy carpet which was long- like a slippery banana- that our friends made for the ultimate toboggan ride. It has held up to 21 people! Chris took the kids down, everyone ending up covered in a mist of white when they finally stopped. Good fun!

It was great! Our friends just bought a big piece of thick plastic, which really is exactly like a crazy carpet in feel and thickness. They cut handles out and when/if they tear, they cut that piece off and cut out a new set of handles. pretty cool!
