Snow Angels for the Birds

During Advent the kids find a small stocking on the table each morning, inside it is a note or item that helps us prepare for Christmas. Today's note read snow angels for the birds. We gathered our birdseed, bundled up for making snow angels and headed outside. We first cleaned the feeders that were filled with snow and filled them up. Then they chose the perfect spots to make their angels. The empty angel was then filled with bird seed. Corn in the head, black sunflower seeds in the wings and a mix for the body. Not only were they fun to make, they looked beautiful.
