It has been cold. Freezing. Our outdoor programs were cancelled this weekend, there were weather warnings. The temperatures were well past -30. There was lots of tea, hot soup, a classic to watch and extra layers. While we are looking forward to the temperatures rising we have taken advantage of the extreme cold to try a new experiment. You take boiling water and throw it into the cold (-30 and colder) air. When the water hits the cold it evaporates and turns into snow. Very cool. This is where we got the idea.

It's so cool that you guys were doing that at your house. We have been doing that here too! It was fun to show my nephews how cool that experiment is.
AWESOME !
Danyon says "I just boiled some water" and it is truly cold out here. Sawyer is already making plans :) Great idea !
