We have AN EGG!!!!!

YES! an egg! we are so giddy! there is an little egg dance happening here and the nesting boxes are have been checked numerous times!

There are guesses that maybe the gingerbread house the chickens got to eat was the missing ingredient. Perhaps. But I think that the fact they laid their first egg on New Year's Eve is telling of a great year to come. Full of new beginnings.....and scrambled eggs!
